Courtney Buiniskis is a proud native of Southern Anne Arundel County who has built her career around public service, education, and community advocacy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management as well as a master’s degree in Higher Education, and brings over a decade of experience as an educator. Today, she continues that work as an Adjunct Professor at her local community college, helping to shape and mentor the next generation. In addition to her academic role, Courtney serves as Legislative Director to District 6 Councilwoman Lisa Rodvien, where she works closely with county, city, and state leaders to advance policies and deliver real results for residents. Her ability to navigate government and build strong relationships has made her a respected and effective voice in Anne Arundel County. Following her 2022 campaign for State Delegate in District 30B, Courtney expanded her impact as a Community Engagement Officer in the County Executive’s Office of Constituent Services. In that role, she served communities across South County, Odenton, and Crofton—connecting residents with critical resources, strengthening partnerships with HOAs, nonprofits, and law enforcement, and launching outreach initiatives to better support underserved and underrepresented populations. Her work has helped bridge the gap between government agencies and the communities they serve. Known for her strong communication skills and tireless dedication, Courtney is a passionate advocate for ensuring residents feel heard, informed, and supported.
