Thomas is retired from the U.S. military and has served honorably on active duty for 20+ combined yearsin 3 branches of the U.S. military (U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corp’s, and finally the U.S. Army). Thomas is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and currently resides in the state of Alabama. Thomas is the owner/operator of Another Approach Music (record label, recording studio, and music publishing company). Thomas is also a professional multi-talented touring musician/performing artist, recording artist, and a BMI affiliated music publisher and songwriter. Prior to going independent, Thomas headed up various community and professional music booking and entertainment agencies/companies including the Alabama office of the globally known professional booking and management company- “Celebrity Direct Entertainment”. Thomas served as an official CDE professional entertainment booking/management agent for the states of Alabama, Georgia, Northern Florida, and Tennessee. Thomas is also a registered/certified ICMAUA and USMAA 6 th degree black belt martial arts practitioner and instructor in the martial arts disciplines of Kenpo Karate, and Sikaryn Karate. Thomas is also a certified/registered (State of Alabama) Insurance/Financial Services professional and Instructor.

Chris Potts is HSHC’s executive director. She holds an MA and M.Ed. in literature and storytelling and has a professional background in teaching, telling and nonprofit administration. She has a particular interest in American women's history and interprets and performs the 18th century abolitionist Sarah Grimke, one of the first women in America to speak publicly against slavery and for women's rights. Roxann Redd-Wallace is HSHC’s trustee and recording secretary. A retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant with 23 years of active-duty service, she is a founding member of the Sgt. Alfred B. Hilton Memorial Foundation, Inc., and an active member of the Harford County Lynching Memorial Project. She also was one of a group of local historians who created the Campaign 42 series – the first comprehensive chronicle of local African American history in Harford County. Chris and Roxann will explore Trials & Triumphs: A History of the African American Experience in Harford County – a powerful traveling exhibit developed by The Historical Society of Harford County in partnership with Hosanna School Museum. The exhibit shines a light on the rich and often overlooked stories of resilience, achievement and legacy within Harford County’s Black community. With degrees in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Towson University and a Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University, Carlesa has led with both heart and vision across numerous local, state, and national organizations. She is also a Eckerd College Certified Conflict Resolution Trainer and Workplace Mediator and national youth development “Kids at Hope” trainer. She began her career at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a ChildLife Teacher and later took on leadership roles for young parents with infants and toddlers with Baltimore City Public Schools and the Anne Arundel County Community Action Agency. Her commitment to equitable access to resources and opportunities for families with young children led her to direct one of Maryland’s first Family Support Centers.
